All the kids brought to class
The worst gifts they'd received-
A collection of junk
That you would not believe.

Where we all could dwell...
On gifts that none of us liked very well.

There were ugly purple socks
And some long underwear,
And pajamas with pictures
Of stupid ol' bears

And a book that told you how
You could clean up your room,
And it came in a set
With a dustpan and broom.

Gifts that aren't so swell
Put them on ebay
And maybe they'll sell!
